Last year brought important developments across the network. We welcomed new institutions while several successfully navigated the (re)accreditation process. Above all this, we continued promoting and protecting human rights through strengthening, supporting and connecting National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs). In doing so, we reinforced ties among NHRIs and the wider human rights community. As challenges to human rights, democracy and the rule of law rise, our collaborative efforts are more important than ever.
