The webinar for NHRIs on the Business and Human Rights Treaty will be held on Wednesday 14 April 10:00-11:30 CEST. Olivier de Schutter, the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights will speak at the Webinar and share his opinion on the current draft of the treaty. He’ll be joined by Claire Methven O’Brien, from the Danish Institute for Human Rights who will focus on s a framework convention approach. Anais Schill, from Commission nationale consultative des droits de l’Homme (CNCDH) (France) and Melanie Wuendsch, from the German Institute for Human Rights will provide an NHRIs’ perspective on the issue. The meeting will provide a considerate amount of time for questions and answers and an interactive discussion.
