Meeting of the Operational Platform on Roma Equality (OPRE)

The third meeting of the Operational Platform on Roma Equality (OPRE) takes place in Athens, Greece, on 7 and 8 June 2016. The meeting, hosted by the Greek National Commission for Human Rights, brings together the four members of the platform: Council of Europe (COE), Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), Equinet and ENNHRI, supported by representatives of the two networks from Albania, Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia and Slovakia. The issues discussed include recent developments at national and regional level, access of Roma and travellers to justice as well as a joint statement on evictions of Roma and travellers in Europe.
